Fold
a cotton cleaning cloth lengthways to form a long rectangular
shape. Attach one end under the retaining clip and pull tight
before attaching the other end. Old towels and nappies are
ideal.
Replace cloth regularly so that more dirt can be collected
and to avoid too much moisture being applied to the floor
and leaving it wet.
Heavily soiled areas will require more attention to allow
steam more time to act on the dirt while lightly soiled and
smooth surfaces will only require a quick wipe over.
If there are traces of detergent or polish on the surface
you are cleaning (e.g. wax, kerosene, polish, etc.), this
could result in streaks. As a rule these streaks will disappear
after a couple of cleans with the steam cleaner.
The floor tool is suitable for all hard washable surfaces
such as sealed timber & parquetry, ceramic tiles, vinyl,
windows and painted surfaces.
Note: When using floor tool to clean timber,
parquetry, painted walls and ceiling make sure that cotton
cleaning cloth is securely attached to avoid bristles scratching
surface. |
